For a Good Duck Call Roger!

The artistic vision of Master Carver, Roger Desjardins, reflects his respect for nature and all its beauty. His detailed carvings capture with extreme realism the likeness of waterfowl that have inspired him since his youth.  Raised along the shores of the St. Lawrence River, he grew to love the waterfowl that surrounded him. A naturally-gifted artist, Roger began his carving career by helping his father repair battered decoys and it wasn't long before Roger began his own creations establishing himself as one of the pioneers in the art of decorative decoy carving.

A self-taught artist and seventeen times winner of Decorative Decoy Championships and numerous "Best of Show" and "Artist of the Year" awards, Roger Desjardins' decoys are renowned for their aesthetic beauty and extraordinary attention to detail. A cherished collectible, his original works can be found in wildlife galleries and fine gift shops throughout the world.
